Message to Patients:

For 36 years I have been providing the patients who come to me cutting edge treatment for their mobility problems. Although this often involves surgery, we reserve surgical recommendations for those patients for whom conservative treatment has failed. Our goal is to keep you comfortably doing the things the YOU want to do.

Treatment Philosophy:

We educate you about your condition so that you can choose the treatment that is best for you. There are usually some options and we want you to be informed about your choices.

I attended Colgate University for undergraduate and Rochester Medical School. Graduate education included 2 years in General Surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, one year research fellowship at the Salpetriere in Paris, France, two years in Orthopedics at the Nuffield Orthopedic Center in Oxford, England and one year in orthopedics in Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
