Mesfin Lemma, M.D.
Co-Director - Spine Center

Philosophy:

We utilize a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates the spine surgeon, physician's assistants, physical therapists, pain management specialists, and others to meet the needs of patients with any type of spinal condition. We evaluate and treat every patient as an individual. We do not treat spinal conditions generically, but make a specific diagnosis, educate the patient, and provide aggressive treatment that minimizes discomfort while maximizing physical function. Our philosophy is a return to a quality lifestyle with the least invasive methods required to achieve long-term success.

Office Staff:

A patient recently sent us a card to thank us for ‘the Best Service ever”. Our Spine Team is committed to achieving this goal for all our patients. Ms. Calandra Jackson, our administrative coordinator, has been with us for over three years now and brings with her a wealth of experience as she was previously employed by MedStar Health Systems as a Consultant focused on patient, employee and physician satisfaction. Similarly, our certified Physician’s Assistant, Mr. Stephen Harris, is involved in all aspects of patient care. Like the rest of our team, he strives to provide the best possible comprehensive and compassionate care to all our patients.
