Johns Hopkins at Good Samaritan Hospital

Welcome to the Johns Hopkins Shoulder Service at Good Samaritan Hospital led by nationally recognized shoulder specialists. Drs. Petersen and Zikria work closely with physician assistants and office coordinators to provide our patients with comprehensive, expert care for shoulder injuries and disorders.

Comprehensive, Expert Care. One of a select number of programs devoted specifically to the treatment of common and complex shoulder disorders, our specialists are among the most respected and sought after in the nation. Treatment plans are tailored to each individual patient with an emphasis on exhausting non-operative measures prior to consideration of surgical intervention.

Experience, Excellence. When surgery is indicated, you will benefit from greater than 30 years of combined experience in the surgical treatment of shoulder disorders ranging from arthroscopic procedures to major shoulder reconstructive surgery. We employ state-of-the art techniques in treating all aspects of sports, degenerative and traumatic conditions. Furthermore, our physicians serve as team surgeons to numerous sports teams, including the Baltimore Orioles Baseball Club.
